Halloween Cards for sale.
September 19, 2009
I got a hankering to make some cards today and I made way too many considering I don’t really have people to send cards to. I bet you do though!
This is a set of six, each one measures 5.5×4.25 and comes with envelopes. They’re all blank inside so you can add whatever you want. They’re pretty cute and extra sparkly.
18$ for the whole set plus the envelopes. That includes shipping in a padded envelope. Email me at pinktextorg@aol.com if you’re interested.
and my favorite details:
This is a video for all the Prodigy people who are thinking about or have ordered their SS model machine. I’m not affiliated in any way, this is just to show you some of the features and the things that I love about the machine. (everything)
Enjoy.
Adam’s mega update.
September 12, 2009
Here it goes, one big update since I’ve been busy packing and about to be busy moving.
First of all my new house:
Look! An actual laundry room which shall henceforth be known as my fabric dyeing room!
In addition to that I finish a 1930’s star quilt (actually it’s totally finished as I did the binding this morning)
and then I doodled some
And then my friend Michelle had a jerk baby a year ago so I made her a birthday quilt from fabulous uncle Adam
Her baby is a year old and it’s not smart enough yet for me to talk to about important things so I’m hoping the bright colors will stimulate her.
In case you’re wondering about who this baby is here’s a video of her defying me:
and because I’m still getting used to my new machine (and because I finally found the macro button on my camera) here’s some more doodles.
Through Her Stormy Waters For Sale.
August 19, 2009
I’m physically pained at the thought of selling this quilt, but I’d rather be physically pained in my comfortable home instead of pained out on the streets.
This quilt is 80×80, all hand dyed fabrics, machined pieced, appliqued, and quilted.
It won 2nd place at Innovations in 2008, was featured in the MQX Real Men Quilt exhibit in 2009, and most recently published in The Quilter Magazine.
I’m asking 1200$ which I’m assured is a real bargain. Payable by check or money order only because paypal gets enough of my money as is. Serious inquiries only please email me at pinktextorg@aol.com if you’re interested in purchasing it.
If you’d like more pictures just email me.
I’ve been sick.
August 18, 2009

But my machine is here. I’ve been sick for a month which means I’ve been out of bed for about 6 hours a day. I’m not getting much done, but I do believe I’m starting to feel better. Machine’s here though, so that’s good news.
In other news, I’m going to be offering some of my early quilts for sale here at bargain basement prices. I have a ton of quilts just sitting around and not doing anything, so I figure I can slap a price tag on them and sell them. 90% of the people reading this blog can make their own quilts, but I figured it’d be worth a shot. I’m a little desperate for some income and maybe one day I’ll be famous and you can say you have one of my first quilts.
That’ll be happening some time this week but for now I’m going to crawl back into my bed where it’s dark and cold.
A little dust never stopped me none.

I miss my old camera. It took the best pictures! This one takes really good video, but I want nice pictures again
I was planning to buy a new camera with my check from teaching the class but now most of that is going to my new computer (my computer crashed fyi) and my machine (the one that still isn’t…ah, nevermind, you know the drill.)
Anyway if anyone has any recommendations on a good digital camera, that’s affordable, has a macro lens, optical stabilization internat battery and takes at least 8megapixel photos lemme know.
For now here’s a shot of my ironing surface which is no longer clean.
!

As you can see I’m getting quite a bit done with my messing ironing surface.
“___ ___ ___ ___”
June 26, 2009
It’s that time again. I’m keeping most of this quilt to myself (which is impossible because it’s seriously awesome) My mom (my ironer) even likes it and she’s usually not into my quilts.
Oh? See my fancy toile ironing surface? Yeah, it got a workout today…and it’s clean!
Things needed to make a quilt
1. Mom
2. Freezer paper
3. Elmer’s Glue
4. Diet Coke.
And in the background you can just barely see the beginnings of the new kid. He’s a boy, obviously because thems what boys make. He’s dark, moody, and a total loner. He also has 5,000 yards of gold silk thread waiting in a box for him.
Mmm. Earthy.
